Turning Luna into her delightfully different self wasn’t a quick fix—it took a little extra TLC! 🐾 Luna came in with some serious matting, but with patience and care, we saved the length of her beautiful coat and kept her looking absolutely delightful. Here’s how we did it:
1️⃣ Boston Bath – Luna’s coat had some tough tangles, so we started with a double-shampoo process. A clean coat is easier to brush through than dirty, greasy fur, and we used a nourishing shampoo and conditioner to hydrate her dry skin and fur.
2️⃣ Leave-In Conditioner – To lock in that moisture, we applied a leave-in conditioner. Hydrated hair is less likely to mat or break, keeping Luna’s coat soft, shiny, and healthy.
3️⃣ Thorough Drying – Using our velocity dryer, we carefully dried Luna’s coat while gently breaking up the mats. This also fluffed up her fur, preserving the length and volume.
4️⃣ Brushing & Detangling – We took extra time to carefully brush through every inch of her coat, using line brushing to make sure no mats were left behind. Every part of her was left smooth and tangle-free!
5️⃣ Trimming – A full body clip followed by hand scissoring helped refine her look. We used scissoring spray to ensure a smooth, precise finish.
6️⃣ Final Touches – A spritz of our signature dog parfum and a quick fluff, and Luna was ready to show off her gorgeous, mat-free look!
